What makes our Takane ball special?
The soft fabric Takane ball, also known as a puzzle ball, from Mom’s Care was created for little ones just learning to grasp. The design of this first Montessori ball allows for different ways of gripping, enabling easy transfer from one hand to the other. This helps build wrist strength and hand–eye coordination. As early as the first month of life, the ball can be hung above the crib. The black, white, and red colors of Takane attract the baby’s gaze and stimulate vision. The ball is made of safe velour and cotton, filled with hypoallergenic stuffing. Inside, there is a rattle whose gentle sound sparks curiosity.
From just 1 month of age, the Takane ball can be suspended above the crib. The rattle encourages the baby to reach for it and pull to hear its pleasant sound. A safe mirror is sewn into the toy, catching the baby’s attention. The ball can also be hung near the baby’s feet to encourage controlled leg movements and kicking. Older babies who can sit or crawl can take the ball apart into smaller sections and chase after it. Thanks to its unique shape, the Takane ball doesn’t roll far, motivating babies to crawl or reach for it. It inspires play through shaking, rolling, and tossing. Its softness supports grasping and hand-to-hand transfers.
